Dr. William Straughn
Dr. Straughn has been in practice for over 28 years and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of personal injuries, including motor vehicle injuries (whiplash and other accident trauma) and sports injuries.
Dr. William Straughn has been helping patients recover from pain and injuries for more than 25 years. He began his education at Northeast Missouri State University before transferring to Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and later his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating in 1998.
Throughout his career, Dr. Straughn has developed extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of personal injuries, with a particular focus on motor vehicle accidents, whiplash, accident-related trauma, and sports injuries. He owned and operated a private chiropractic practice in Florissant, Missouri, for 18 years and has also treated patients throughout the St. Louis area, including St. Peters, Cottleville, and Chesterfield.
At Esquire Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, Dr. Straughn is committed to helping patients recover from injuries and get back to their everyday lives as quickly and safely as possible. He works with patients experiencing pain and limited mobility following car accidents and other personal injuries, providing individualized chiropractic care and rehabilitation based on their specific needs and goals.
Dr. Straughn believes that effective healthcare should help the body heal while giving patients the guidance and support they need along the way. He was drawn to chiropractic after discovering its focus on helping patients improve their health and function without relying solely on medication or surgery.
His interest in biomechanics extends to his own life as an avid golfer. He understands firsthand how proper form, movement, and biomechanics can affect performance and help prevent injury—not only in golf, but in sports and everyday activities.
Dr. Straughn has treated patients of all ages and takes pride in helping people who may be struggling with pain or injury regain their mobility and independence. Whether recovering from a motor vehicle accident, whiplash, sports injury, or other personal injury, his goal is to help each patient move forward with greater comfort and confidence.
Outside of the office, Dr. Straughn has been married to his wife, Sheri, for 25 years. They have three adult children and two grandsons. He especially enjoys spending time with his oldest grandson, Mace, when he isn’t caring for patients or enjoying a round of golf.
